(Agriculture) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (U.K.); M.Sc. in Horticulture from Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya (U.P.); Ph.D. in Fruit Science from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (U.P.); Qualified ICAR- JRF and ASRB-NET. Author has more than nine years of experience in the field of teaching, research & extension. Published 23 research papers, 25 abstracts and popular articles and 05 practical manuals. Guided 05 M.Sc. students as major advisor and 07 students as co-advisor. Received application award from Vice Chancellor, BUAT Banda in the year 2019 and 2023. Acting as co-coordinator for ICAR-JRF Preperation Cell in the University.
Akhilesh Kumar Srivastava is working as an Professor and Head in the Department of Fruit Science College of Horticulture, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda. He did B.Sc. Ag and M.Sc. Ag (Horticulture) from the ANDUAT, Ayodhya and completed Ph.D from IAS, BHU, Varanasi. He got an outstanding academic career and worked under AICR on Arid Zone Fruits and AICRP on fruits for 24 years. He qualified for ICAR-JRF, NET and has been recipient of University gold medal at graduation level. He published 40 research papers in NAAS rated journals, 5 Books/Bulletins, 4 book chapters and 100 popular articles and papers in seminar and symposia. He is Executive Councillor of Indian Society of Arid Horticulture since 2017; Executive Councillor for Indian Society of Citriculture, Nagpur Since 2014 and Editor (Crop Production) for Indian Journal of Arid Horticulture since 2020. Contributed for promotion of Arid Horticulture in Hot Arid Zone B of Rajasthan and currently for dry land areas of Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh. He is recipient of Fellowship of International Society for Noni Sciences, Chennai Fellow award of ISAH, Bikaner, 2019-20. He received appreciation award from Vice Chancellor, BUAT Banda in the year 2019, 2020.
Siddharth Kumar is pursuing his Ph.D. in Fruit Science at Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda (U.P.). He did his B.Sc. in Agriculture and M.Sc. in Horticulture from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (U.P.). He has qualified ASRB-NET in horticulture (Fruit Science). He has awarded with fellowship Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT. He has published about, 3 research papers, 12 articles and 5 book chapters.
