Dr Jeetendra Verma, Born on 19th March 1966, Dr Jeetendra Verma is an eminent business professional in animal health care and nutrition. He graduated from Jabalpur Veterinary College in 1988, MVSc and PhD in Poultry Science from CARI, Izatnagar and a business management graduate from IIM, Kolkata
Dr Verma started his career as Assistant Professor of Poultry Science at Mhow Veterinary College, JNKVV Jabalpur. Later on, he switched from academics to business and joined poultry industry in 1998. Dr Verma has worked with many national and international companies at leadership positions like Nav Maharashtra, Jubilant Organosys, Eli Lilly (Elanco), Delacon Biotechnik etc. Presently he is Market Access Consultant for Asia region for Addicoo, Czech Republic.
He has more than 29 years of experience in the field of Animal Nutrition and Animal Health Care having excellence in managing and leading the companies, exploring and developing new markets, appointing channel partners, accelerating growth & achieving desired marketing and sales goals.
Dr Verma is an honourable member of National Advisory Committee (NAC) constituted by Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of India in 2023 and Research Advisory Committee of ICAR-NIANP, Bangalore.
Dr Verma has received many awards like Frost & Sullivan Award (2005), Aftab Recognition Award (2018), Distinguished Alumni Award 2018 by NDVSU, Jabalpur, Star Anis Award (2016, 2017) by Delacon Biotechnik etc.
Dr Girraj Goyal, currently holding the post of Incharge, Department of Poultry Science, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, NDVSU, Jabalpur. He has obtained his UG degree BVSc. & AH form Mhow Veterinary College, and MVSc & Ph.D degree from Central Avian Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly.
He has more than 13 years of experience in the field of veterinary education, research and extension activities with specialization in Poultry Science. He has established an instructional cum commercial poultry complex at CVSc. & AH, Rewa under ICAR sponsored Experiential Learning Programme. Currently he is associated with ICAR sponsored All India Coordinated Research Project on Poultry Breeding in different capacities including Principal Scientist, Farm Manager etc.
He is working on development of improved varieties of chicken, Japanese quail, Turkey and guinea fowl with special focus on slow growing colour broilers and disease resistance chicken varieties. He is also working on development of development of farmer friendly sustainable technologies for production of enriched meat and eggs with aim to uplift the socio-economic status of the poor and landless farmers, unemployed youth and farm women and to ensure the nutritional security to the deprived classes of the society.
He has published more than 25 research papers in national and international journal. He has authored 5 books & manuals. More than 50 extension & popular articles have been published in his credit in different scientific and social magazines & newspapers. He has been conferred with 5 best paper awards in different international and national conference by reputed scientific societies
