Prof. (Dr.) Abhimanyu Kumar Jha is a distinguished Molecular Biologist with extensive research experience in Molecular Biology, Animal Biotechnology, and Cancer Biology. He currently serves as Professor and Dean at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. Prior to this, he held several leadership positions including Head of the Department of Biotechnology at Sharda University, Greater Noida; Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences and Head, Department of Biotechnology at the Institute of Applied Medicines and Research, Ghaziabad; and Head, Department of Biotechnology at IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad.
Dr. Jha earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has an outstanding academic and research profile, with more than 140 research papers in reputed national and international journals, 48 book chapters published by Elsevier, Springer, and Apple Academic Press, and over 14 books across various subjects and competitive examinations. He also holds 14 published patents.
His achievements include a D.Sc. (Honorary) in Biological Sciences awarded by The American University, USA, the ESDA Senior Scientist Award at the 5th World Environment Summit, and the WeGrow India Research Excellence Award at the International Innovation Research Conclave.
His present research focuses on the epidemiology and epigenetics of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Cervical Cancer, Liver Cancer, and Neurodegenerative Disorders, along with ongoing investigations involving Alzheimer's disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and groundwater contaminants influencing epigenetic cancer markers. He has also contributed significantly to research on natural compound–mediated reversal of tumor suppressor gene methylation.
Dr. Jha is an active academic leader who has delivered numerous keynote lectures, chaired scientific sessions, and contributed extensively to national and international conferences.
Dr. Eepsita Priyadarshini: Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Galgotias University, Greater Noida
Dr. Eepsita Priyadarshini is an accomplished biotechnologist and biomedical researcher with a Ph.D. from CSIR–Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar, under AcSIR. Her doctoral research centered on the synthesis and characterization of gold and silver nanoparticles for toxic metal ion detection.
She has received several prestigious research fellowships including DST–Women Scientist B, DS Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship, National Post-Doctoral Fellowship, and the Newton–Bhaba Fellowship. Her postdoctoral work spans nanomaterial-based biosensors, anti-biofilm technologies, and advanced microbiological and cell culture techniques.
Dr. Priyadarshini has published over 40 SCI-indexed research papers, and her scientific contributions earned her recognition among the Top 2% Scientists in the World (2023 & 2024) as per the Elsevier–Scopus global ranking. She serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for multiple international journals and is frequently invited to deliver talks at national and international conferences. Her broad expertise spans microbiology, nanotechnology, biosensing, biomaterials, and scientific communication.
Dr. Mahek Sharan earned her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, and holds a strong academic track record with over 10 publications in reputed national and international journals. She is the author of two popular educational books—Foundations Biology for Class 8 and Foundations Biology for Class 9—widely appreciated for their conceptual clarity and student-friendly writing style.
She has also contributed three book chapters with recognized academic publishers including Apple Academic Press.
