It is widely acknowledged that each component of the course, including livestock economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, business management and accountancy, constitutes an independent and distinct area of study.
Unfortunately, the libraries in agricultural and veterinary universities are not well-stocked with an ample number of books on these subjects. Consequently, the lack of resources can make teaching and learning more challenging. A comprehensive handbook that covers various topics related to livestock economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, business management and accountancy would alleviate this issue and provide a valuable resource for both students and teachers involved in the course.
The book is written in a straightforward manner, avoiding unnecessary complexity, and includes a wealth of graphs and mathematical expressions to support the information presented. Additionally, this book would also benefit veterinary professionals and extension officers who are involved in promoting livestock entrepreneurship activities.
