R. Parimalarangan, Ph.D., working as an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics at Department of Agricultural Economics, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He has 12 years of experience in teaching and research in Agricultural Economics. He completed his B.Sc.(Ag.) degree programme in TNAU, Coimbatore and his MSc.(Ag.) in Agricultural Economics in ANGRAU, Hyderabad. He is a rank holder in ICAR entrance examinations for his post graduate studies. He completed his post graduate degree programme through ICAR exams. He completed his Ph.D in Agricultural Economics at TNAU, Coimbatore. He received fellowship for his Ph.D research work from Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, New Delhi. He has published more than thirty research and popular articles in reputed national and international journals and has participated in National and International conferences and seminars. He is currently working in the research area of agricultural marketing and trade.
M. Kalpana, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Computer Science, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore has 17 years of experience in handling courses in Computer Science and Statistics for Under Graduate and Post Graduate students. She obtained her B.Sc Degree (Statistics) in 2001. She is a rank holder in an undergraduate degree. She obtained her MCA degree from Bharathiar University in 2004 and M.Phil in Computer Science at Madurai Kamaraj University and her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Bharathiar University during 2014. The research area is around Artificial Intelligence, Image processing and Mobile computing. She has to her credit Four books, Ten book chapters, 8 papers in National Conference and 7 papers in International Conference, 32 papers in International Journals, 16 popular articles and edited a book in IGI Global, USA. Developed mobile based fertilizer calculator and disease diagnosis app for cotton. She has also won numerous awards/medals in her professional career. She is an editorial member in the International Journal of Data Mining and Emerging Technologies.
N. Suganthi, Ph.D., is currently pursuing her Post Doctorate had completed her Doctoral degree program in the Department of Agricultural Extension at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University during the year 2013. She had worked as Senior Research Fellow and Research Associate at the Directorate of Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development Studies (CARDS) and Directorate of Extension Education respectively at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. She has significantly contributed in the field of Agricultural Extension. Her Ph.D. Research topic was “Empowerment of Farmers through Cultivation of Medicinal Plants”. She has published more than fifteen research and popular articles in reputed journals and has participated in National and International conferences and seminar. She was appointed as Joint Club Secretary during the U.G degree program. She had availed TNAU merit scholarship for pursing her Ph.D. degree program. She received the Best Doctoral Dissertation Award in the field of Agrl. Extension during the National conference on “Reinvigorating Agricultural Innovations for Farmers’ Empowerment and Development”, RAINFED-2015,organized by GKV, society, Agra. She had bagged the best poster award in the same conference. Received Extension Scientist Award 2021 on the 3rd International Conference, GIAFAS, organized by Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun.
