Dr. Manish Kumar Singh (Scientist E) is presently working as Senior Scientist in Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Land Management (CoE-SLM) in Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Dehradun (India). He obtained Graduation and Post-graduation degree in Botany (Honors) from University of Delhi and Doctoral degree in Botany from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. He has qualified ARS NET in following discipline in Basic Plant Science, Biochemistry and Plant Physiology. He has over Thirteen years of vast experience on Physiological, Taxonomical and Ethnomedicinal aspects of plants of Eastern and Western Himalayan region. Before posting to Dehradun, Dr. Singh served as Head In-charge of the Silviculture and Forest Management Division, in Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam, where he explored forests of northeast Himalayan region, with a primary focus on plant germplasm collection, mass multiplication and land restoration through afforestation programme with elite germplasm of forestry tree species. He has authored five books, over forty research papers, and numerous articles in prestigious journals. He also mentors PhD students and research scholars in the fields of plant physiology and botany.
Mrs. Tara Bhuyan Rajkhowa (JPF) currently working as Senior Project Fellow under Silviculture and Forest Management Division in ICFRE-Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam. She has completed her B. Sc. (Agri.) in 2014 and M. Sc. (Agri.) in Horticulture in 2016 from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. She has also cleared ARSB-NET in Floriculture and Landscaping in the year 2017.
