The book "Diseases of Economically Important Horticultural Crops" provides information on the diseases of twenty-two horticultural crops based on available literature. The book discusses the importance, economic losses, symptoms, etiology, disease cycle, and factors favorable to management of most plant diseases in brief. The major diseases are discussed in greater detail than the minor diseases. This book provides a comprehensive understanding of the diseases of horticultural crops.

Mr.  Deepak  Mourya: (Silver  Medalist):  He  received  his  B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture degree from Banda University of Agriculture & Technology, Banda, U.P. in 2018, his M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology degree  from  Department  of  Plant  Protection,  Aligarh  Muslim University (A Central University) Aligarh, U.P. in 2020, and he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. (Plant Pathology) at Shri Khushal Das University in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. He was awarded the Vice-Chancellor Silver Medal in the UG Program. He has attended numerous national and international conferences and symposiums, where he has garnered best poster presentation  prizes.  He  has  contributed  to  numerous  publications,  including  05 Research Articles, 05 Book Chapters, 21 Popular Articles, and 03 Abstracts in a variety of reputable national and international journals.

Mr.  Pankaj  Singh: Currently  pursuing  Doctor  of  Philosophy in  Department  of  Plant  Pathology  at  Sardar  Vallabhbhai  Patel University  of  Agriculture  &  Technology,  Meerut  (U.P.).  He completed  his  Bachelor  of  Science  (Agriculture)  Honours  from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur (U.P.) and Master of Science (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology from Acharya NarendraDev  University  of  Agriculture  &  Technology,  Ayodhya  (U.P.).  He  has  been participated  in  several  National  and  International  Conferences  &  Symposiums and  received  best  poster  presentation  awards.  He  published  several  Research papers, Book chapters, Articles and Abstracts in both National and International conferences.
