This text turns Introductory Entomology into fast, score-oriented learning. It tracks the ICAR outline end-to-end—history and dominance of insects; morphology (cuticle, head–thorax–abdomen, antennae, mouthparts, legs, wings/venation & coupling); anatomy/physiology (digestive, excretory, circulatory, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, reproductive); metamorphosis/diapause; ecology (abiotic/biotic factors); pest categories; and systematics up to orders with agriculture-relevant families (Orthoptera, Dictyoptera, Isoptera, Thysanoptera, Hemiptera, Neuroptera, Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera).
You get one-page concept sheets, labeled diagrams, comparison tables (e.g., mouthparts, leg/wing types), order–family cheat cards with examples, and unit-wise MCQs (single-best, assertion–reason, matching, figure/gels where applicable) with brief keys—ideal for ICAR UG/PG, SAU entrances, and ASRB-NET basics.
