Dr K.Ponnusamy is currently working as Head, Social Science Division at ICAR-Central Plantation CropsResearch Institute, Kasaragod, Kerala. He obtained BSc (Agri) and MSc (Agricultural Extension from TNAU, Coimbatore and Ph.D from NDRI, Karnal. He handled national level ICAR Network projects,externally aided projects and institute projects as both PICo-PI. He was instrumental in facilitating many farmer participatory research trials leading to development and commercialisation of technologies in brackishwater aquaculture, dairying and plantation crops. He has developed teaching materials for post-graduate extension courses. He published about 100 research papers in national and international journals and 70 popular articles. Dr Ponnusamy is serving as Vice-President of Society for Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension and Fellow of National Academy of Dairy Sciences. He received Best teacher award from NDRI Deemed to be University, Karnal.

Dr. Shahaji Phand is Deputy Director and Centre Head of the Centre for Extension in Agri- Allied Sector and Principal Coordinator of the Agri-Clinics and Agribusiness Scheme (AC&ABC) at MANAGE, Hyderabad. A veterinary graduate from Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University, Nagpur (2002), he completed his Master’s and Ph.D. in Veterinary Extension Education from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Bareilly, UP (2005, 2008) with JRF and SRF. He served as Assistant and Associate Professor at Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur before joining MANAGE in 2016 and being promoted to Deputy Director in 2018. He developed two technologies which are patented and commercialized. He also received the Dr. C. M. Singh Award for Best Ph.D. Research at the national level. Dr. Phand has published more than 30 research papers, edited 67 books, coordinated more than 300 training programmes benefiting over 6,000 stakeholders, and as Principal Coordinator of AC&ABC works with 100 NTIs nationwide, training over 7,500 candidates, with more than 3,000 establishing agri-ventures in the last four years.

Dr. Sushrirekha Das is a committed researcher and development professional with a strong academic foundation in Zoology (M.Sc. & Ph.D.) and over 11 years of experience in Teaching, Research, and Extension. She has advanced research capabilities in animal sciences, fisheries biology, aquaculture systems, and applied zoology. Her work includes investigating the effects of capacity-building training on food security and livelihood enhancement among vulnerable communities, as well as evaluating the role of probiotics in shrimp farming in Kendrapada, Odisha. Her professional interests include scientific beekeeping, reproductive management in dairy animals, aquaculture probiotics, and extension strategies aimed at improving farmer livelihoods. Dr. Das has contributed significantly to capacity-building programs, farmer trainings, and institutional workshops across agriculture and allied sectors. Armed with strong skills in scientific research, field investigation, extension methodologies, program coordination, data analysis, and evidence-based documentation, she is well recognized for her scientific writing, communication abilities, training facilitation, and community engagement. Proficient in English, Odia, and Hindi. Dr. Das continues to advance sustainable agri-allied sector development and applied zoological research through impactful education, outreach, and extension activities.
